Equipment function summary:
1. Salt spray environment
Continuous salt spray exposure is widely used to test the corrosion resistance of components and coatings. Applications include industrial, maintenance, construction and Marine coatings; Plating and painting layers; Aerospace and military coatings, surface coatings and components, electrical and electronic systems and components.
Most of these tests, in accordance with special specifications, are widely used in relevant corrosion tests and generally run at higher temperatures, excluding drying cycles. The air required to be sprayed should be heated before entering the nozzle.
This test chamber is operated like a typical conventional salt spray during salt spray function.
· The jet solenoid valve is opened, and the compressed air is humidified through the saturator (humidity helps to maintain a stable PH concentration) and then to the nozzle.
· The saltwater corrosion solvent from the brine tank is drawn to the nozzle, where it is mixed with compressed air.
· The nozzle sprays the brine solvent and air into a corrosive mist.
· The box heater maintains the programmed box temperature.
This feature is also used for pure water mist exposure.
2. Dry environment
During the drying function, the dehumidification system is opened and the moisture in the box is discharged outside the box, while the fan works to make the indoor air go to the air heater and then into the box, thus producing low humidity conditions in the box. The temperature of the box is controlled by the box heater and the air heater. The air heater is turned off for 5 seconds before the end of the drying procedure, so that the heater channel and components near the heater do not overheat due to the blower closing.
3. Humidity environment
During the humidity function, the hot water in the humidifying tank boiler is evaporated into the box to maintain the set box humidity.
4. Condensate environment
During the condensation process, the water in the tank is heated through the tank bottom heating pipe to keep the tank at about 100% relative humidity.
5. Set up (storage) environment
The temperature of the box is automatically maintained by the box heater during the standing function. Does not produce spray, dryness, air purge, or humidity.
