Summary:
This gypsum mortar water retention tester is developed and produced by our factory in accordance with the National Building Materials Industry Standard of the People‘s Republic of China "Gypsum Plastering" (JC/T517-2004). This instrument is used to detect the water retention rate of plastered gypsum mortar, and it can also be used to test the water retention rate of cement and mortar.
The machine is mainly composed of rotary vane vacuum pump, U-shaped liquid pressure gauge, suction filter bottle, Buchner funnel, etc. The control system is convenient and flexible, easy to operate, the whole machine has a reasonable layout and clear levels, which is suitable for quality inspection departments.

How to test :
A. Cut a piece of medium-speed qualitative filter paper according to the inner diameter of the cloth funnel, spread it on the bottom of the funnel, and soak it with water. Put the cloth funnel on the suction filter flask, turn on the vacuum pump, and filter for one minute, remove the cloth funnel, wipe off the residual water in the lower mouth with filter paper, and weigh (G1), accurate to 0.1 g.
B. Put the gypsum slurry with standard diffusivity and water consumption into the weighed cloth funnel, and use a T-shaped scraper to rotate vertically in the funnel to make the thickness of the slurry within (10±0.5) mm. , Wipe the residual gypsum slurry on the inner wall of the cloth funnel, and weigh (G2) to the nearest 0.1 g. The time interval from the completion of mixing to the completion of weighing should not exceed 5 minutes.
C. Put the weighed cloth funnel on the suction filter flask and start the vacuum pump. Adjust the negative pressure to (53.33±0.67) kpa within 30 seconds. Suction and filter for 20 minutes, then remove the funnel, wipe off the remaining water with filter paper, and weigh (G3) with an accuracy of 0.1 g.
