The Shawble paper permeability tester is a specialized instrument for measuring the degree of permeability of various types of paper, such as cement bag paper, paper bag paper, cable paper, copy paper, and industrial filter paper. Suitable for papers with breathability between 0-17um/(Pa.s), not suitable for papers with high surface roughness.

Working principle:
1. The instrument consists of a container fixed on a pillar, a paper sample clamp ring, and a pressure gauge.
2. The upper part of the container is equipped with a breathable valve and a water filling valve with a funnel to inject into the container.
3. The bottom of the container is equipped with an overflow valve and a regulating valve to control the flow of water.
4. The paper sample clamp ring is fixed on the bracket, and there is a hole with an area of 10cm2 on the paper sample clamp ring and the air box.
5. The air box is located below the paper sample clamp ring, with two joints connected to the exhaust pipe and pressure gauge using rubber hoses. The base below the instrument is the foundation of the entire instrument, and a level gauge is installed on it. Rotate two adjustment bolts to adjust the horizontal position of the instrument.
6. The working principle of this instrument is the average air flow rate that a unit area of paper passes through under specified conditions, under unit time and unit pressure difference.
