Toys Sharp Edge Test Machine

Introduction:

Sharp edge test machine is used to determine whether the edge of toys or other daily necessities has sharp edges that are injurious.

Usage method:

1. Roll a circle of TFE adhesive tape on the edge tester head, with an overlap size not exceeding 0.1in (0.25mm).

2. Fix the sample position and ensure that the test edges are not moved or bent.

3. When the position of the touchable end of the assembled toy is not sufficient for the experiment, the sample should be removed for testing. However, if it is removed, it will affect its hardness. Other objects can be used to make it hard, but the supporting area cannot be larger than the tested object.

4. The angle between the testing instrument and the testing edge is 90°±5°.

5. The contact point between the edge of the sample and the adhesive tape should be approximately in the middle of the adhesive tape schedule.

6. Adjust the force of the testing instrument to 1.35 LBS (6N).

7. Apply force upwards at the position of the adhesive tape to light up the indicator light, and at this point, the test edge is subjected to a force of 1.35 LBS.

8. Activate the sharp edge tester switch to rotate its axis one revolution.

9. Carefully remove the adhesive tape and do not expand its size. Use a steel ruler to measure the cut length.

10. If the cutting length exceeds 0.5 inches (12.5mm), the test edge is sharp.
