Standard: GB/T4852 "Pressure Test Method for Pressure Sensitive Tape - Rolling Ball Method"

Scope of application:

Manufactured according to the national standard GB/T4852-2002, suitable for pressure sensitive adhesive tapes and other products for initial tack test. The test adopts the bevel ball method, and the short contact between the steel ball and the test specimen‘s adhesive surface with slight pressure occurs. When the adhesive tape, label and other products adhere to the steel ball to test the initial tack of the sample.

Working principle:

Roll a steel ball over the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape that is placed flat on the inclined plate, and evaluate the initial tackiness according to the maximum steel ball size that can be adhered to the adhesive surface of the specified length.
